What does Oeko-Tex\u00ae actually mean?<\/h2>\nA product with the Oeko-Tex\u00ae label is a product which is not harmful to your health or skin<\/strong>. It is certified free of all chemical substances. The label therefore certifies the non-toxicity of textiles. Each element of the product submitted for certification is analysed by 18 research institutes in Europe and Japan. The tests are then carried out on the site of the company submitting the product, in a systematic or random way. More than 300 substances are analysed in this way.\n\nOeko-Tex\u00ae has developed various types of label<\/strong>: Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex\u00ae for the non-harmfulness of textiles, Step by Oeko-Tex\u00ae for environmentally and people-friendly players, Made in Green by Oeko-Tex\u00ae which combines Standard 100 and STeP, Leather Standard by Oeko-Tex\u00ae for the non-harmfulness of leather, Eco passport by Oeko-Tex\u00ae for the certification of products involved in the processing of textiles and Detox to Zero by Oeko-Tex\u00ae for the assessment of chemical management systems.\n\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
