Merino wool from France, Australia, South America, Asian Camels, Peruvian Alpaca, Bolivian Llama, Yak, Iranian Cashmeres, wool from China and Mongolia… Our search for noble fibers is a tradition. Ever since the Middle Ages, the Beaucaire trade fair brought exotic fibers to our region. In the 19th century, we could find at the fair wools from the Levant and Africa. In 1962, Louis Brun created the first mohair covers, made from the hair of Turkish goats. In 1997, Brun de Vian-Tiran rediscovered Merinos of Ancient Arles®, the finest wool in Europe. In 2005 the Louis Brun collection was created, dedicated to rare fibers: Yangir, Cashgora, Kid Mohair, King Llama, Turkmen Camel…
