Mattress core

The Eala bed mattress combines exquisite softness with harmonious stability and an incredibly temperate sleeping climate with its composition:
– 2 layers of extremely durable virgin cotton quilted fabric.
– 2 layers of hand-crumpled J ponytail hair.
– 8 layers of cotton and wool.
– 1 system of pocket springs 15 cm high, with springs that act individually.
– 4 reinforced corner springs (covered with very soft linen), ensuring comfort and stability when you sit on the edge of the bed.
– Reinforced edge springs along all sides to prevent you from falling out of bed and make it easier to get up.
– Meticulously placed side seams enhance both stability and flexibility.

Comfort face

The Eala bed base gives you a wonderful floating and relaxing feeling that overwhelms you when you lie down thanks to its composition:
– 1 layer of extremely durable virgin cotton quilted fabric.
– 1 layer of cotton and wool
– 2 layers of linen that isolate noise and keep static electricity away.
– 1 Bonnell spring system of 13 cm high, with machine-twisted coil springs.
– 1 solid Swedish pine frame with finger joints, 9.2 cm high.
– 1 layer of cotton lining that protects the bed from below.
– At least 4 sturdy legs, recessed to prevent you from stubbing your toes.

When Hästens’ master bedders skillfully combine the finest horsehair, wool and cotton into balanced layers, they create something incredible: quiet air conditioning. Moisture is wicked away and cool air circulates around your body. A natural way to create a wonderful sleeping environment.

Finishes

Choose the degree of firmness: soft, medium, firm or extra-firm.
Adjust the length and width with 0.5 cm increments (maximum size is 400 cm). For widths greater than 210 cm, the base will be divided in two. The Eala is available in square, rectangular or round shapes.
